Our aim is to make your movies the best quality at the fastest time...

That's the reason why our GUI doesn't let you play with all available options of programs we launch. We've made some choices.

• Audio format : the temporary WAV file is a 44100Hz PCM WAV, because many sound cards cannot handle 48000 Hz and we think it is useless to try a better sound quality than 44100Hz which is CD quality stereo.

• Audio compression : we use DivX ;-) Audio Codec at 64Kbps, 44kHz, stereo. You can prefer MP3, but don't blame us for this. The quality is very close to that MP3 and it convert wave files many times faster than MP3.

• Video format : 512 is our favorite X size for different reasons. First of all, it produces a smooth playback (playing large screen sizes can result in a jerky playback). No more, 512 X size gives for both 16/9 and 4/3 format a Y size multiples of 16, allowing to reproduce the aspect ratio accurately.

• Video compression : we use Low Motion Codec because it gets better results ! We suggest using a keyframe of 1 in order to have a better playback (fast seeking when you change the play position in your movie...) Concerning compression control setting, we leave it at 100. But if you are convinced that other value gets you better results...
